It is essential that you follow these instructions after your session:
Day 1-3: Do not touch your brows at all. Do not wash them or let them touch any water.
Day 4-14: Apply barrier (vasaline, aquafor, etc.) or the Vitamin A&D ointment with a cotton swab, gently 2 times per day.
The following MUST BE AVOIDED during all 14 days post procedure:
Sun on pigmented area; Soap, facial cleansers, anti-aging creams containing any acids or retinols on pigmented areas; Hot, steamy, long showers; Increased sweating, practicing sports; Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area; Spicy food, smoking or drinking alcohol in excess as it may lead to slow healing of wounds.
The following may occur after your procedure:
Discomfort/Swelling: discomfort is usually mild but you can take some counter
pain relieve to help you feel comfortable.
Bruising: bruising is rare, but if it does occur, it is mild and will resolve within a
few days.
Pigment Intensity: immediately following the procedure, the pigment will appear dark/vibrant. The color will fade within 7 to 10 days. After scabs fall off, the color will look lighter but be patient, the color will come back and settle into the final color.
Color: effort will be made to achieve the exact color desired, but an exact match cannot be guaranteed due to different undertones in the skin and pigments being used.
Pigment Irregularity: the pigment may heal inconsistently, with some areas healing lighter/darker than others. This is normal and cannot be anticipated. The touch-up procedure will correct this.
